Nevada DOT Continues I-15 Expansion in Las Vegas to Support Rapid Urban Growth

Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) sustains its critical expansion projects along Interstate 15 through the Las Vegas metropolitan area during August 2025. This corridor experiences some of the highest traffic densities nationwide due to tourism, commerce, and local population growth.
The current phase entails lane additions, interchange redesigns, installation of noise mitigation walls, and improved roadway lighting to enhance safety and reduce congestion.
